Center for African Policy
The Center For Africa Policy (CAP) is a think tank institution that focuses on providing independent research and analysis for policymakers and stakeholders within the African continent to enhance evidence-based policymaking and governance. Our organization comprises a team of policy experts and researchers with a diverse set of skills in public policy, international relations, economics, political science, and governance.
Our Objectives and Goal
Our primary focus is to provide accurate data and research on public policy areas that impact African policymakers and stakeholders. We undertake research activities and provide analysis and insights on different policy areas, including but not limited to:
- Economic Growth and Development: We conduct research and provide analysis and insights on economic growth and development issues, including poverty alleviation, access to finance, improving agricultural production, economic integration, and institutional development.
- Governance and Democracy: We research and provide analysis and insights on issues related to governance and democracy, such as political stability, constitutionalism, governance strategies, human rights, gender equity, and the rule of law.
- Sustainable Development: We conduct research and provide analysis and insights to promote sustainable development in Africa, including social and environmental sustainability, energy access, climate change mitigation and adaptation, resilience, biodiversity, and environmental governance.
